Off the heels of Gabe Newell’s DICE Keynote where he talked up upcoming hardware, Valve has today fired long-time hardware team developer Jeri Elssworth. Elssworth confirmed this this morning via her Twitter Feed.
Elssworth was working on many of the hardware project that have been fluttering about recently including concept ideas for the “Steam Box’s” controller. She’s perhaps most publicly famous for her YouTube channel where she shows off all sorts of science-related projects.
No official word has been made as to why she was let go.
