Imangi Studios announced today that it’s breakaway mobile hit, Temple Run 2 has hit 50 million downloads to mobile devices in just two weeks. The game, released for iOS, Android, and Kindle, hit the number in just 13 days. The previous record for hitting the 50 million download milestone was set by Angry Birds Space which did so in 35 days in 35 days.
Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi, said about the record:
“Temple Run has evolved into something so much bigger than us. The game has performed beyond our wildest dreams, and we are thrilled that gamers and fans have embraced Temple Run 2 in such a short period of time.”
