Voice Commands Coming to Xbox 720?
It seems that Microsoft is truly upping their game (I'd like to say no pun intended, but we all know it was), when it comes to the Xbox 720. Today The Verge and IGN are reporting that voice recognition ala Siri will be included in the next-gen Microsoft console. Sources familiar with Microsoft's Xbox plans have revealed that Durango, the codename for the next Xbox, will support wake on voice, natural language controls, and speech-to-text. Valve Fires Hardware Designer Jeri Elssworth
Off the heels of Gabe Newell's DICE Keynote where he talked up upcoming hardware, Valve has today fired long-time hardware team developer Jeri Elssworth. Elssworth confirmed this this morning via her Twitter Feed. Elssworth was working on many of the hardware project that have been fluttering about recently including concept ideas for the "Steam Box's" controller. If I was asked what mobile game can grab my interest like no other it would be the "Where's My" series from Disney Interactive. The two main games are Where' My Water and Where's My Perry. In both cases players use their fingers to draw a path across obstacles for water to flow through towards the goal.
